Name that (dead) park

Life is full of ups and downs. The definition of tragedy is entirely relevant to a given situation, so maybe weeping and gnashing our teeth over a park that got bulldozed might seem rather small potatoes to most everyday people. But park fans are not everyday people. We’re special, of course, and losing a home park we grew up with is indeed a tragedy. Heartbreak. Anguish.

Most of us have been spared all of this, but some of you have had to soldier on after watching your favorite park go down in dust. You will instantly recognize these vacant or redeveloped plots of land. The rest of you, see if you can name that park.

Give up? Check your answers? Cheat? Here are comparisons of what the parks used to look like.
